The strong idea that anchors Assemblage concerns the conception that disparate works gathered together, even if they produce a new promise, do not lose autonomy.
«Artists of different nationalities exhibit their creations in the exhibition "Assemblage", which will be exhibited in the Abstract Act Gallery, from November 19. The variety of themes and the different levels of experimentation proposed bring a new content and until then far from the radar of the Portuguese public.
They will be works by 13 artists from Portugal, Brazil, France, Luxembourg and Bahrain. The mix of themes is the desire of the curatorship, which brings together a heterogeneous cast, with variations ranging from abstract to surrealism. Most artists live and work far from the urban poles.
Among the highlights of the exhibition are the works of the Japanese-Brazilian artist Corina Ishikura, made from encaustica, an ancient technique that uses beeswax mixed with pigments. For the public, the sensation is to be contemplating kaleidoscopes. Besides Brazil and Japan, Corina Ishikura's works have already been seen in France, Germany, Luxembourg, among other countries.
The French Fabienne Rosalina unites metal and painting to create geometric works full of color. They are works that gather different textures in symmetry over an original combination of materials. Daughter of Portuguese parents, Fabiene was born in the region of Alsace and all this experience so close to the German contemporaneity also has influence on her creations.
Another name that draws attention is Williams Delabona, a Brazilian artist who explores different techniques to create futuristic, symbolic images with multidimensional aspects. The artist investigates the influence of geometric shapes and colors on the human psyche. With award-winning works, Williams Delabona has exhibited on five continents.

A ideia forte que ancora Assemblage respeita à concepção de que obras díspares reunidas, ainda que produzam uma nova promessa, não perdem autonomia.
«Artistas de diferentes nacionalidades exibem suas criações na exposição “Assemblage”, que estará patente na Galeria Ato Abstrato, a partir de 19 de novembro. A variedade de temas e os diferentes níveis de experimentação propostos trazem um conteúdo novo e até então longe do radar do público português.
Serão obras de 13 artistas de Portugal, Brasil, França, Luxemburgo e Bahrein. A mescla de temáticas é o desejo da curadoria, que reune um elenco heterogênio, com variações que vão do abstrato ao surrealismo. Grande parte dos artistas vive e trabalha longe dos polos urbanos.
Entre os destaques da exposição estão os trabalhos da artista nipo-brasileira Corina Ishikura, feitos a partir da encáustica, técnica milenar que usa a cera de abelha misturada aos pigmentos. Para o publico, a sensação é de estar a contemplar caleidoscópios. Além de Brasil e Japão, as obras de Corina Ishikura já foram vistas em França, Alemanha, Luxemburgo, entre outros países.
Já a francesa Fabienne Rosalina une metal e pintura para criar obras geométricas e cheias de cor. São trabalhos que reunem diferentes texturas em simetria sobre uma combinação original de materiais. Filha de pais portugueses, Fabiene nasceu na região da Alsácia e toda esta vivência tão próxima à contemporaneidade alemã também tem influência em suas criações.
Outro nome que chama atenção é o de Williams Delabona, artista brasileiro que explora diferentes técnicas para criar imagens futuristas, simbólicas e com aspectos multidimensionais. O artista investiga a influência das formas geométricas e das cores na psique humana. Com trabalhos premiados, Williams Delabona já expôs nos cinco continentes.
